Ghana head coach Otto Addo has expressed unwavering confidence in the talent and potential of the Black Stars, emphasizing that his players have the skills to deliver quality football and achieve victory.

In an interview with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) media team, Addo pointed to the players' capabilities, particularly in their recent home matches against Angola and Sudan during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

“I hope everyone who understands football has seen our home games against Nigeria, Angola, and Sudan in Accra. The players have what it takes.

If we focus on our strengths and consistently think about how to leverage those strengths, we can play good football,” he stated.

Addo acknowledged the difficulties the team has faced but stressed the importance of passion and teamwork.

“We have players who can combine good football with passion, which will help us move forward, even in this difficult situation.

To be honest, I was feeling down over the last couple of days, but I’ve received a lot of positive feedback and support from family and friends,” he added.

As Ghana prepares for their final two matches in Group F, Coach Otto Addo remains optimistic about the team's chances for qualification, insisting that success is still within their grasp despite the significant challenges ahead.
