Ghanaian defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh has completed a transfer deadline day move to German third-tier side FC Hansa Rostock.
Ayeh joins the lower division outfit on a season-long loan deal from English side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Speaking at his official unveiling, Hansa Rostock FC sports director Markus Thiele shared his thoughts about the new signing;
“With Phil Ofosu-Ayeh, whom I know from my time at VfR Aalen, we have been able to win a running and strong fighting full-back, which is characterized by its speed and dynamism. In addition to his defensive qualities, as a trained striker he is also in a position to get involved in the game, “
“I’m happy to be able to play for an association like Hansa Rostock with its tradition, its great conditions and its many fans. Hansa gives me the opportunity to regain more match practice and of course I want to give it back by giving gas and helping the team as well as possible,’’ Phil Ofosu-Ayeh said.
