Black Queens star Grace Asantewaa left Accra on Thursday night to Spain to begin her adventure with Iberdrola side EDF Logroño.

The 18 year old joined the club on a one-year deal from Ampem Darkoaa Ladies.

She was named best player in the Normalisation Committee Women's special competition.

Asantewaa has six international caps and scored two goals for the Black Queens.

The former Ghana youth international has represented the country in the FIFA U17 and U20 World Cup finals.
