Ghanaian midfielder Elisha Owusu has opened his scoring account for AJ Auxerre in the French Ligue 2. Owusu scored the match-winning goal in their away victory over AS Troyes.
AJ Auxerre took the lead in the 21st minute after Niakhate Ndiaye scored an own goal, but Jaures Assoumou leveled the score for AS Troyes.
Elisha Owusu was introduced into the match in the 75th minute as a replacement for Gauthier Hein.
During stoppage time, Owusu brilliantly secured all three points for AJ Auxerre with his strike, which came from a pass delivered by Gaetan Perrin.
Owusu has now scored one goal and provided an assist in 7 games for AJ Auxerre this season.
