Trabzonspor striker Caleb Ekuban has successfully undergone a surgery in Italy today to correct a foot injury.

The Ghanaian international suffered the injury set back in training following a challenge by Fernandes.

The 24 year old is expected to be out between four to six weeks . He will miss the games against Gençlerbirliği, Getafe in the Europa League, Sivasspor and Besiktas.

He will also miss miss Ghana's AFCON qualifier which begins next month.

Ekuban has been a key player for Tranzonspor since joining from English Championship side Leeds United.
