Ghanaian attacker Bernard Morrison appears to be on the verge of a potential move to Rwandan champions APR FC, with his contract at Moroccan side FAR Rabat set to expire on June 30.

The 31-year-old, a former player for Orlando Pirates, has a wealth of experience in East and Central African football, having previously plied his trade for Congolese outfit AS Vita Club, as well as Tanzanian giants Simba and Yanga SC.

According to a source close to the player, APR FC have expressed interest in signing Morrison as they prepare for the 2024/2025 CAF Champions League campaign.

"An initial approach has been made and it is likely Morrison will end up at APR. He is not new to East African football and with his huge experience and expertise, he will help APR a lot, especially in Africa," the source revealed.

Morrison, who began his career at Heart of Lions and later played for AshantiGold, is known for his versatility, capable of operating on the wings or as a center forward.

He possesses a keen eye for both scoring goals and providing assists.

However, Morrison's career has not been devoid of controversy. In February 2022, he faced suspension from Simba SC for leaving the camp without permission.

Additionally, in 2021, he stirred controversy after celebrating in front of former club Yanga SC's fans by removing his pants, following his move to rivals Simba SC.
