Ghanaian forward Hafiz Wontah Konkoni has completed a move to Ethiopian Coffee SC, signing a two-year contract after departing Tanzanian giants Yanga SC.
Konkoni, who spent the previous season on loan at Libyan club Olympic Azzaweya, originally joined Yanga SC from Bechem United in the summer transfer window.
His tenure in Tanzania, however, was marred by injuries that limited his contributions.
Despite these setbacks, Konkoni managed to make five appearances for Yanga SC, netting twice—once in the Tanzanian league on his debut and another in the CAF Champions League.
Ethiopian Coffee SC has now secured Konkoni's services to bolster their attacking options.
The club is optimistic that his experience and goal-scoring ability will enhance their offensive strength as they progress through the remainder of the season.
