Humberside Police are on the hunt for a Ghanaian national Frederick Addo Boateng for  rape.

They are appealing for help to find the man who was charged with rape in 2014.

He is among seven people from across the region who are been haunted for evading justice.

The force made the appeal after reviewing cold cases, one of which involves Boateng's Goole woman raped.

Frederick Addo Boateng, 36, failed to answer bail after being arrested for the rape of a Goole woman during a date in January 2014. He has been charged in his absence but police now need help in tracing him as part of a cold case review.

It is believed the Ghanaian national uses a number of different names including Nana Kuffour, Sean Frimpong and Sean Friagpon.

He has been described as black, around 5ft 8in tall with a tattoo of an eagle on his right arm.

Detective Sergeant Stuart Fox said: "The original investigation relates to an incident in January 2014, when a Goole woman was raped by a man during a date.

"Our teams arrested Frederick Boateng at the time. However, he failed to answer bail and has been charged in his absence.

"Despite extensive ongoing enquiries we have been unable to trace him. We believe that he is still in the UK and it is believed he uses a number of aliases including Nana Kuffour, Sean Frimpong and Sean Friagpon.

"He is now 36-years-old. He's described as black, around 5ft 8in tall with a tattoo of an eagle on his right arm."

The crimes they have committed are serious and the police want to find them so they can face the consequences, the police statement added.
