Former Dreams FC midfielder Michael Agbekpornu has completed a move to Spanish La Liga 2 side SD Huesca, marking a new chapter in his career after leaving Croatian club NK Slaven Belupo.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian has signed a contract that will keep him at the Spanish club until 2028, underlining Huesca’s long-term faith in his abilities.

Agbekpornu, who made his name in Ghana with Dreams FC before moving to Europe, has steadily built his reputation through consistent performances in Croatia. His move to Spain offers a fresh challenge in one of Europe’s most competitive second-tier leagues.

At Huesca, the midfielder is expected to bring experience, energy and balance to the centre of the park as the club pushes its ambitions in La Liga 2.

For Agbekpornu, the switch represents both reward and opportunity, a chance to test himself in a new footballing environment and continue Ghana’s growing presence across Europe’s major leagues.

As he settles into life in Spain, attention will turn to how quickly he adapts and the impact he can make as Huesca look to strengthen their campaign.
