Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Mensah has joined Slovakian side MFK Zemplin Michalovce.

It's his third spell with the Eastern Slovak team in his career. He previously played for Zemplin Michalovce in the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 seasons.

His coach Anton Šoltis speaking in an interview with Slovakian website novinyzemplina.sk. sys he expects the inclusion of the 25 year old Ghanaian attacking midfielder in his team to yield more goals.

He also adds that addition of the tricky attacking midfielder offers him a lot of options during team selection.

“We know his qualities and believe he can help us. Let's see how cool the game is. His arrival creates more room for maneuvering in the lineup. Last time there was a goal and we promise goals from him now, ” he said.

Mensah is the tenth acquisition for MFK Zemplin this season.

During his previous two spells with MFK Zemplin he played 29 times and scored six goals.
