Ghanaian midfielder Rahim Ibrahim opened his goal scoring account for the season with a fine performance in Slovan Bratislava’s emphatic 4-1 victory over Podbrezova in the Niké Liga.
The 22-year-old found the back of the net as Slovan continued their strong start to the Slovak top-flight campaign. His contribution in midfield was key to the dominant win, which keeps the defending champions firmly in the title race.
This marks Ibrahim’s first goal of the 2025-2026 season and further solidifies his role in the Slovan setup as the club eyes both domestic and European success.

The former Accra Lions enterprising left-footed midfielder has been involved in two goals in four games this season as he first assisted in his side’s 4-0 win over Zrinjski in the first round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
He joined the Slovak side in February this year and he didn’t need much time to announce himself as one of the most reliable players in the squad despite joining in a short time. He helped the team win the Slovakian league title last season as he scored 4 goals and provided 1 assist.
With such impressive left foot in the heart of midfield, the 24 year old is viewed by the masses as the next Sulley Muntari in the making.
He scored 22 goals and provided 4 assists at FC Trencin, the first club he played in Europe after leaving the shores of Ghana in 2021.
