Nottingham Forest youngster of Ghanaian descent Arvin Appiah has secured some silverware with England during the international break.

The 17 year old has been away with the Under-18s in France and celebrated victory in the Limoges Tournament on Sunday.

His sole appearance came against the Netherlands in their opening game, when he scored in the 3-0 win.

Appiah was one of a number in the squad who had been part of the Under-17s’ run to the semi-finals of the European Championships last season.

A regular for the Reds’ Under-23s, he has yet to make his first-team debut for the club, but was included on the bench against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup last month.
