Ghanaian prodigy Godswill Vadze has signed a three-year deal with Serbian Super League club Čukarički, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in his promising football career.

The offensive midfielder, known for his standout performances with Zvijezda 09 in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina last season, brings his talent and ambition to the white and black of Čukarički.

Born on September 4, 2001, in Tefle, Ghana, Vadze honed his skills with Accra Shooting Stars FC before launching his international career with Austrian team Pinzgau Saalfelden.

His impressive stint at Zvijezda 09 saw him score eight goals and provide six assists in 49 games, making him a notable figure in Republika Srpska.

“I am very happy to become a member of Čukarički. I can't wait to meet my teammates, to do the first training, and I hope to be in competition for games very soon.

I am grateful to God and to all the people in Ghana who believed in my talent. I promise to give my best for this club, to which I am very grateful for the fact that they signed me.

It is a privilege to play for Čukarički,” Vadze expressed after his introduction to the club from Banovo Brdo.

Vadze has been assigned the number 11 jersey and began his journey with Čukarički by undergoing medical examinations on Monday. He is set to start training with the team immediately.

Technical director Goran Grkinić highlighted the club's strategic approach to Vadze's signing: “We followed several players who were on our radar for a long time, including Vadze.

We did a detailed analysis of his qualities, and with the help of the club's scouting service, we concluded that he is the ideal profile of a player who fits the system and idea of the game that our head coach Goran Stanić is looking for.

We expect Vadze to quickly adapt to the requirements and to contribute to the team soon, especially considering his previous experience in this region.”

Isaac Ansah, Vice President of Accra Shooting Stars FC, shared his confidence in Vadze's future: “Our goal is to produce top-level players capable of competing at the highest level.

We are on that path, having developed several youngsters including Vadze. I am confident that in the next couple of years, he will be rubbing shoulders with the best in the world of football.”
