Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh has officially signed a loan deal with Slovenian side NK Maribor from French Ligue 2 club FC Metz.
The loan arrangement will see Tetteh stay with Maribor for the entirety of the 2024/25 season. Notably, the agreement does not include a buy option, leaving his future uncertain beyond this term.
Tetteh's move to Slovenia follows a challenging season in France, where injuries significantly impacted his performance.
During his time with FC Metz, he made only 13 appearances and had just one start, struggling with both form and fitness.
In their announcement, FC Metz extended their support to Tetteh, wishing him success in his new chapter. "Benjamin Tetteh will not wear the maroon jersey for the 2024-2025 season.
The Ghanaian international is leaving FC Metz and joining Maribor on loan," the club stated.
At NK Maribor, Tetteh will look to revive his career and make a strong impression, with fans eagerly anticipating his return to peak form on the field.
