Ghanaian striker Kofi Kordzi has signed a one-year contract with Libyan top-flight side Al-Tahaddy Sporting Club.

This follows the expiration of Kordzi's contract with Legon Cities at the end of the last season.

Kordzi played a crucial role in helping Hearts of Oak secure both the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup titles in 2021.

His outstanding performances earned him a spot in the Ghanaian home-based national team, where he showcased his talent during the 2023 CHAN tournament held in Morocco.

Nana Kwarteng of Sports Light Consult facilitated the negotiations for Kordzi's move to the Libyan top-flight.

It is the second time that Kofi Kordzi is trying his luck abroad, as he previously had a stint with Qatari side Muaither SC in 2020.

However, he faced challenges in making a significant impact there, leading to his return to the Ghanaian top-flight after just one year.
