Ghanaian teenager Abdul Aziz Issah has officially completed a move to Spanish football giants FC Barcelona.

The transfer of the highly-rated attacker from Dreams Football Club was announced on Monday, September 2, via a social media post by the Ghana Premier League club.

"Dreams FC announces the transfer of Abdul Aziz Issah to Spanish giants FC Barcelona. The 18-year-old finalized his move on transfer deadline day," the club stated on their X (formerly Twitter) account.

Recognized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as one of the continent's brightest young talents, Issah was the top scorer in last season's CAF Confederation Cup.

The dynamic forward netted four goals and provided two assists in 10 appearances, playing a pivotal role in Dreams FC’s remarkable journey to the semi-finals of the competition.

Issah’s move to FC Barcelona marks a historic milestone for Dreams FC and is a significant achievement for Ghanaian football, underscoring the nation’s ability to produce top-tier talent for the global stage.

The young Ghanaian becomes the second player from his country to sign with FC Barcelona this summer, following David Oduro, who joined the club from Accra Lions just last week.
