Promising Ghanaian youngster Nana Amoah Gyamfi has completed a transfer from Accra Shooting Stars to Dutch Eredivisie side FC Utrecht, in a deal that will see him officially join the European club in 2026 when he turns 18.

The 17-year-old forward, known for his pace, physical strength, and keen eye for passing, has impressed scouts across Europe and was previously on trial with Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg.

Utrecht confirmed the signing in a statement:

“FC Utrecht has reached an agreement with Ghanaian striker Nana Gyamfi-Amoah. The talented player will join FC Utrecht in 2026, once he reaches the age of 18 and subject to his residence permit. From then on, the striker will be on a two-year contract in Utrecht, until mid-2028.”

The move comes as part of a long-term investment in talent by FC Utrecht, who opted to secure Gyamfi-Amoah early amid rising interest from European clubs.

Currently a standout performer for Accra Shooting Stars in the Ghanaian third-tier league, Gyamfi-Amoah has been with the club since the age of 12 as part of its youth development project.

He previously featured for the Ghana U15 national team and has now been promoted to the newly formed Ghana U18 side, underscoring his trajectory as one of the country's most promising attacking talents.
