Ghanaian youngster Israel Anum signs with Swedish giants Malmö FF

Ghanaian prodigy Israel Anum has secured a move to Swedish giants Malmö FF during the summer transfer window.

The 17-year-old centre-back has signed with the club's U19 team after making a strong impression during a successful trial.

Anum joins Malmö from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, a renowned breeding ground for talented players.

Expressing his excitement about the move, Anum said, “I am so happy to come to Malmö. It is a big club that is doing very well and playing in Europe.

It’s a great feeling to be here, and I’m looking forward to getting started.” He described himself as an “aggressive” and “leadership-oriented” player who enjoys supporting his teammates.

Anum believes Malmö FF will provide him with excellent opportunities to grow and develop as a footballer.

The young defender is expected to progress through the ranks and potentially make his way to the first team, showcasing the considerable potential that has caught the attention of the Swedish club.

Jeffrey Aubynn, a chief scout in Sweden, praised Anum’s capabilities, stating, “Israel is a player I have seen in Ghana. He represents the modern centre-back—athletic, mobile, fast, and resilient.

He is not the typical big centre-back but has received excellent training and education from the Right to Dream Academy.”
