Ghanaians are calling for Kwesi Appiah to lose his job following the country’s round of 16 exit from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

On Monday night, Ghana lost 5-4 on penalties to Tunisia after drawing 1-1 after extra-time.

An own goal by Rami Bedoui cancelled out Taha Khenissi’s second-half strike as the game went into the extra time and subsequently into the shootout.

The North Africans converted all their spot-kicks with Ghana’s only miss coming from striker Caleb Ekuban.

Ghana's last 16 eviction at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations is the worst for the country since 2006.
