Former Lynx Entertainment signee, Eugene Kwame Marfo, known in the music industry as Kuami Eugene, has revealed Ghanaians' expectations of him.
The 'Canopy' crooner has disclosed that his former manager told him that in the minds of Ghanaians, Kuami Eugene can never have a bad song.
In a one-on-one interview with Amansan Krakye, he said he's always eager to do exceptionally good songs because of the weight on his shoulders.
He said, "There is a weight on my shoulders since my former manager told me I won't get it easy because, in the minds of Ghanaians, Kuami Eugene can never have a bad song.
"That's why when someone else does a song, and it's normal, people cheer them on. But when I do the same thing, they'll say I didn't do well. So, all my songs must be exceptionally strong.
"When you look at all the songs I have done, you can feel that all of them are tough, and so I'm imagining one day I'll do a song which won't be tough," he posited.
