After their match against the Rwandan national team, the Black Queens, the Ghanaian female national team, visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial museum.
Led by coach Nora Hauptle and members of the technical staff, the players paid their respects to the victims of the 1994 genocide.
During their visit, a minute of silence was observed, and the team laid flowers on the graves of the victims.
The Black Queens traveled to Kigali for the first leg of their Women's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which they won 7-0.
The team is set to return to Ghana and begin preparations for the second leg next week.
