It appears Ghana's four AFCON titles won only exist in name but cannot be seen as the trophies are missing from the GFA's cabinets.

Local radio station Angel FM Accra reported on Wednesday evening that none of Ghana's four African Cup of Nations titles exist or can be found at the GFA's secretariat.

Ghana has won the African Cup of Nations title four times that is in 1963, 1965,1978 and the last time being in 1982  but  none of these trophies are available.

Host of the Sports show, Saddick Adams 'Obama,' revealed that in 2019, he was told by a National Sports Authority officer that the trophies were stolen when their offices were destroyed during the coup d'etat regime.

Since last winning the AFCON title in 1982, Ghana has come close on three occasions first in 1992 when they lost to Ivory Coast after a marathon penalty shoot outs and also lost to Egypt in 2010 and Ivory Coast again in 2015.

At the 33rd edition, Ghana exited at the group stages after coming last in a group that had Gabon, Comoros and Morocco.
