Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Baah showcased his talent with a stunning goal for Watford, though it wasn't enough to prevent a 3-1 defeat to Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in their Championship clash on Wednesday.

QPR started strongly, with Michael Frey opening the scoring in the 5th minute after a clever set-piece move, assisted by Kieran Morgan.

Jimmy Dunne added to the lead in the 37th minute, heading home an Ilias Chair cross to leave Watford trailing 2-0 at halftime.

Baah provided a spark for the visitors in the 55th minute, finishing with precision into the bottom corner after an intelligent assist from Giorgi Chakvetadze.

The strike highlighted Baah's skill and calmness under pressure.

However, Watford's momentum was short-lived as QPR responded almost immediately.

Sam Field restored their two-goal cushion in the 56th minute, heading in a pinpoint cross from Paul Smyth to secure the win.

With the defeat, Watford remains 8th in the Championship table. They’ll look to bounce back against Sheffield United on January 4.

Meanwhile, QPR will take on Luton Town on January 6, aiming to build on their solid performance.
