The Chief Executive Officer of Berry Ladies, Gifty Oware-Mensah has been elected as the Women’s Representative on the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Executive Council.

She was unanimously endorsed by all the 20 Women’s Premier League clubs who voted YES for her, AS she went unopposed.

The announcement came during the highly anticipated GFA’s Elective Congress happening in Tamale, which showcased the overwhelming support and enthusiasm of the Women’s Premier League clubs for Oware’s candidacy

This momentous decision was made during the recent GFA election, where Gifty Oware remarkably went unopposed.

This development is a significant step forward in promoting gender equality and women’s participation in football governance in Ghana.
