Raymond Ofosu Agyemang, a Computer Technology student of Don Bosco Technical Institute, has won the Ghana TVET Excellence Awards 2026.

The achievement, according to GLOMEF Ghana, reflects Raymond’s hard work, discipline and commitment to excellence.

Beyond his academic performance, Raymond serves as the Clerk of the Sunyani Adolescents Parliament under the Resilient City for Adolescents Project, an initiative spearheaded by GLOMEF Ghana and its partners.

Through the project, he has benefited from training in ICT and journalism, which have enhanced his technical, communication and leadership skills, while strengthening his role in youth advocacy within Sunyani and beyond.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer of GLOMEF Ghana, Raphael Godlove Ahenu.

The statement also congratulated Agyemang Joseph Biney, another student of Don Bosco Technical Institute, who emerged as 2nd Runner-Up in the same category.

GLOMEF Ghana further commended the teachers, mentors and management of the institute for their dedication and support, which have contributed to the success of the students.

The organisation reiterated its commitment to youth development and encouraged young people to pursue excellence through hard work, discipline and determination.

It congratulated Raymond Ofosu Agyemang, Agyemang Joseph Biney and the entire Don Bosco Technical Institute community for bringing pride to Sunyani and the Bono Region.
