Nana Boakye, NPP National Youth Organizer, has lambasted the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its Presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama over their post-election behaviour.

The NDC has refused to acknowledge President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as winner of the 2020 elections.

The party together with their Presidential candidate claims the election results were flawed.

"We will not accept anything short of a declaration of the legitimate results which points to an NDC Parliamentary majority," Mr. Mahama said during an address to the nation after Nana Addo was declared President-elect by the Electoral Commission (EC).

The party supporters have also staged a series of protests against the Electoral Commission.

Some of the supporters burned car tyres and used them as road barricade to register their displeasure.

Discussing the issue on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'', Nana Boakye scolded the NDC for resorting to protest when the law court is the appropriate forum to address their election grievances.

According to him, it is completely unacceptable for the NDC supporters to hit the streets because they think Mr. Mahama should be declared President-elect.

''Where from this lawlessness from NDC? I am so ashamed, such an irresponsible act from an opposition party. How? The whole world is watching you.''

He called on the NDC to gather their evidence and proceed to the Supreme Court.

''We're asking you to bring your evidence. Nobody is even talking about evidence. All they're saying is that we have won. How did you win?''
