US-based brand GoPro has announced new services for its Plus subscribers. Called the GoPro Plus subscription service, it now offers unlimited cloud storage for videos and photos. Notably, the videos and photos will be stored at their original quality. Customers will have to pay $4.99 or Rs 350 per month for the service.
Under the new service, GoPro users can conveniently auto-offload GoPro videos and photos which are then automatically backed up in cloud. The Plus service eliminates the need to connect your GoPro to a computer or buy new SD cards, saving you time and money, the company said in a press statement.

Additionally, GoPro Plus subscribers will get 50% off on GoPro mounts and accessories available at GoPro.com. Previously, it offered 20% discount for the Plus subscribers. Also, the company promises to first place in queue for phone and chat support to the Plus users.

GoPro users who are currently the GoPro Plus subscribers will enjoy the enhanced benefits starting today. The company also offers a 30-day free trial for new users to sign up for the service.

In a related news, the company has reduced the price of its GoPro Hero 6 Black Action camera by Rs 8,000. The camera which was originally priced at Rs 45,000 can be purchased at Rs 37,000 after the price cut. Hero GoPro was launched in September, 2017.
