The Bank roller of Neoplan Stars Football Club, Jonathan Abbey Pobby has revealed that Ghanaians should not blame Coach Avram Grant for the recent awful performance of the Senior National Soccer team the Black Stars.

The Black Stars have so far played five matches without any victory and succumbed to 2-0 defeat to Egypt last Sunday in the ongoing 2018 Russian World Cup qualifiers.

This painful defeat has made Ghana’s chances of qualifying to the said World Cup very bleak prompting lots of Ghanaian soccer fans to call for an exit of the Israeli trainer.

The shrewd football administrator (Abbey Pobby) insists the ex- Chelsea manager is not the cause of the team’s recent abysmal performance.

In an interview with Cape Coast-based ATL FM, the astute football administrator explained that the Black Stars problem has to do with the poor administration by the current GFA officials led by Kwesi Nyantakyi .

“No one should blame coach Avram Grant for Black Stars’ recent woes because over 70 percent of Ghanaian soccer fans don’t support the team anymore due to the ill-treatment type of administration by the GFA so the team is not performing because they are not getting the needed support from the nation’’. He exclusively revealed to Cape Coast-based ATL FM.

Black Stars will take on Congo in their next World Cup qualifier in Ghana.
