Management of the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) has undertaken a working visit to Genser Energy’s Prestea Gas Conditioning Plant to evaluate ongoing developments at the facility.

The delegation was led by GRIDCo’s Chief Executive, Ing. Mark Baah, who toured the plant with his team and interacted with engineers to gain first-hand insight into its expanding operations.

Officials were briefed on the status of the midstream gas conditioning plant, which has the capacity to process up to 135 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) of natural gas.

The project is part of broader initiatives aimed at boosting gas processing capacity and enhancing the reliability of fuel supply for power generation across the country.

Speaking after the tour, Ing. Baah commended Genser Energy for the steady progress of the project and reaffirmed GRIDCo’s commitment to deepening collaboration within the energy sector.

“GRIDCo looks forward to future collaborations in the quest to strengthen Ghana’s energy value chain and ensure sustainable and reliable power for every Ghanaian and our neighbouring partners,” he said.

The visit highlights continued cooperation among key stakeholders in Ghana’s energy industry to strengthen infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and promote long-term energy sustainability.
