A group calling itself Concerned Family and Friends of the late President John Evans Ata Mills has appealed to the FBI in the United States of America and Interpol, to help bring to conclusion the supposed mystery surrounding the sudden death of the Professor Mills.

“Giving the seriousness of the situation and the fact that we want to follow the kind of democratic system practiced in the United States of America and the United Kingdom, we the young people of Ghana want and need all peace loving democratic countries to assist in unravelling the mysteries surrounding the death of our brother and father H.E President J.E Atta Mills and prosecute all the culprits,” the group stated in a letter signed by one Ato Jones Kwamena.

The demand for the autopsy report and an independent investigation into the death of the late President has recently resurfaced with the Progressive People’s Party virtually leading it.

The General Secretary of the PPP, Murtala Mohammed, at a national rally of the party recently dared the NDC to release the autopsy report to prove their innocence.

“If you didn’t kill Mills and if you are not happy Mills died, produce the autopsy report. We are challenging John Mahama to produce the autopsy report of [late] President Mills. The Central Region people here, I want you to listen to me: if John Mahama comes to your region, tell him to produce the autopsy report,” he insisted.

Recently, the Central regional Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress, Allotey Jacobs, revealed that only close relatives and friends know about what actually killed former President Mills.
