Kayserispor forward Asamoah Gyan has set his sights on returning to his best next season after failing to leave his mark in 2017/2018 campaign in Turkey.

The Black Stars skipper endured an injury-stricken season where he managed only 12 league games.

The 32 year old striker wants to start ‘one of the important seasons’ in his career in the best possible shape.

“This season will be one of the important seasons [in my career],”he said.

“I didn’t have a good season last term so it is important for me to be ready for this coming season.

“I have to be physically ready and all so this will be an important season.”
