Hasaacas Ladies FC, champions of the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League, have been successfully approved to participate in the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League 2024.
This was confirmed by a release from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
In compliance with current CAF and GFA Club Licensing Regulations, Hasaacas Ladies FC underwent a comprehensive assessment in five critical areas: Sporting, Infrastructure, Personnel and Administration, Legal, and Financial.
A letter addressed to the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Addo, confirmed the successful application. The letter read:
"Reference to the club licensing process for the CAF Women´s Champions League 2024 (CAF WCL), we acknowledge receipt of your Federation's communication containing the information of clubs which had their licence granted on the CAF Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP), based on the fulfillment of the CAF Club Licensing criteria.
