Hearts of Oak warmed up with another friendly this afternoon at the Kpobiman training complex, where they faced lower division side Eddies FC.
In a stunning fashion, Hearts of Oak recorded an emphatic 5-0 victory after full time.
The scoring was opened by young forward Isaac Frimpong, who recently joined from Asekem FC, on the 20th minute after they had squandered several chances. Raphael Amponsah doubled the lead eight minutes later, giving his side a two-goal advantage heading into halftime.
After the break, Kwadwo Obeng Jr. scored just four minutes from halftime to make it 3-0.
Hamza Issah added another goal on the 79th minute, and Obeng Jr. wrapped up the win with another goal in the final six minutes, completing his brace and securing their fifth goal of the day.
The match ended 5-0 for Hearts of Oak after full time.
After losing their season opener against RTU, the Rainbow Club is focused on securing a win when they face Nsoatreman FC this weekend.
