Hearts of Oak Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV has emphasized that investing in infrastructure is essential for the club's rise to prominence in African football.

His remarks came after the official handover of a state-of-the-art secretariat to the club's board on Tuesday.

The modern facility, located in Adabraka, was presented during a ceremony attended by Executive Chairman Togbe Afede, Managing Director Vincent Sowah Odotei, and other board members.

They were joined by the media for a tour of the new building.

Togbe Afede expressed that the new secretariat, alongside the existing Pobiman Academy project and the upcoming Goodman Academy, will significantly enhance the club's standing on the continent.

“As I've always said, we have a vision to build a club that assumes pre-eminence in African football, while serving the community, impacting the community, and making a difference in the lives of our people,” he stated.

He stressed that such ambitions cannot be realized without substantial investment in infrastructure.

The completion of the secretariat and the forthcoming Goodman Academy reflect the club's commitment to achieving excellence and demonstrating its dedication to African football.

The Chairman's vision underscores a broader strategy to elevate Hearts of Oak not only through football excellence but also through community impact and infrastructure development.
