Accra Hearts of Oak recorded a resounding victory against lower tier side Cape Coast venomous Vipers at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

The phobians who had recorded a shocking defeat to Odartey Lamptey's Glowlamp Academy banished that defeat and got back to winning ways.

In a 6 goal thriller, Hearts of Oak beat the lower tier side by 4-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Michelle Sarpong opened the floodgates for the phobians with a brace as the silky winger was a handful for his opponents

Kofi Kordzi scored from the penalty to send Hearts of  Oak 3 nil before Sumaila Larry added the fourth goal later in the game

Wafu tournament returnees Mohammed Alhassan , Benjamin Kotey, Joseph Esso  were back in the starting eleven after helping the Black Stars B to a silver medal in Senegal.

Vipers reduced the deficit with two late goals but it was not enough as the phobian defence line stood resolute.
