Accra Hearts of Oak is actively engaging in discussions with former Black Meteors goalkeeper, Kwame Baah, regarding a potential transfer to the club.
The former Kotoko goalkeeper is set for a two week trial with Accra Hearts of oak at the Pobiman complex on Monday.
Baah who is left footed goalkeeper last season kept post for Adama City fc in Ethiopia on one year contract with the club which has since expired.
However, following the conclusion of his one-year contract with Adama City, Baah has returned to Ghana and is presently in negotiations with the Phobians for a possible transfer to the capital-based club.
It is anticipated that Baah will finalize negotiations with Hearts in the coming days and is set to begin training with the team on Monday, October 2, at Pobiman.
Kwame Baah brings a wealth of experience to Hearts of Oak's goalkeeping department, which already boasts talents like Eric Ofori Antwi, Richard Attah, and Richmond Ayi.
Baah originally joined Kotoko in July 2019, making the switch from Inter Allies FC. During his tenure with the club, he appeared in a total of 24 matches, conceding only 12 goals while keeping 12 clean sheets.
Additionally, Baah played a crucial role as Ghana's first-choice goalkeeper at the U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in 2019, contributing significantly to the Black Meteors' fourth-place finish.
He had previously represented the Ghana U20 national team, showcasing his talent on both domestic and international fronts.
