Accra Hearts of Oak have officially signed promising young midfielder Hussein Mohammed from Debibi United, with the 20-year-old joining the club on a three-year contract that will keep him at the capital-based team until 2027.

The signing comes after a period of observation and successful trial performances, where Mohammed impressed the Hearts of Oak technical team, led by head coach Aboubakar Ouattara.

His recent standout performance included scoring the equalizer in the Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Cup, helping the Phobians secure a victory over Kpando Heart of Lions.

“He has been with us for a few weeks, and his impressive display has certainly caught the eye of our technical staff,” the club stated.

Hearts of Oak are currently in preseason training, focusing on preparing for the new Ghana Premier League season, which kicks off in September.

Mohammed’s addition is expected to enhance the squad's depth as they aim to make a strong start in the upcoming campaign.
