Hearts of Oak have shown a keen interest in acquiring forward Isaac Mintah ahead of the second transfer window.
Mintah, who is currently unattached after leaving Libyan side Al-Ahli, is attracting significant attention from both of Ghana's top football clubs.
The 25-year-old forward enjoyed a standout season with Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 17 goals and providing 4 assists in 40 appearances before his move abroad in February 2024.
However, following a brief stint with Al-Ahli, Mintah has returned to Ghana and is now exploring options for his next move.
Since October, Mintah has been training with Asante Kotoko, where he is being assessed by the club’s technical team.
The Porcupine Warriors are reportedly eager to bring him on board, but they will face competition from their rivals Hearts of Oak.
The Phobians are also looking to strengthen their attack and have expressed serious interest in the talented forward, making the upcoming transfer window a potential battleground between the two giants of Ghanaian football.
The race for Mintah's signature is expected to heat up in the coming weeks.
