Hearts of Oak sign Mawuli Wayo from Bibiani Goldstars

Accra Hearts of Oak have finalized the signing of midfielder Mawuli Wayo from Bibiani Goldstars following weeks of negotiations.

Despite receiving a contract extension offer from Goldstars, Wayo opted for a move to the capital-based giants, where he has been training for the past few weeks.

Wayo showcased his talents during the Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Cup, delivering a standout performance in their match against Kpando Heart of Lions.

With three seasons of experience in the Ghana Premier League, Wayo has made 44 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

His addition marks Hearts of Oak’s fifth new signing this transfer window, joining previously confirmed recruits Yahaya Draman, Kwame Boateng, Hussein Mohammed, and Yussif Ahmed Ramzy as the club continues to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.
