Award winning Ghanaian actor/farmer, John Dumelo is asking a salient question on social media.

The father of one who had earlier declared 2019 as the year more Ghanaian youth will venture into agriculture is questioning how agriculture can be made attractive to the youth.

According to the serial entrepreneur, "Africa has 60 percent of the worlds uncultivated land, yet we import billions of dollars of food. The youth are awake and we are ready to change the status quo. We have the interest of Africa at heart and we will defy the principles of natural justice to be our own judge 30 years to come".

How can we make agriculture attractive to the youth? - Actor John Dumelo asks

In February 2018, the actor revealed that he already owns a three-acre cassava farm in the Manya Krobo community in the Eastern Region which he hopes to expand to 10 acres soon.

Mr. Dumelo who is into multiple agric faming including livestock farming is advising the youth to venture into the sector as it is very lucrative adding that farming though demands a lot of patience pays off in the end considering that it puts money in ones pocket at the end of the day.
