Tunisia defeated the Black Stars 5-4 on penalties for the first time in the history of the African Cup of Nations tournament. Yassine Khenissi opened the scores for the Carthage Eagles midway through the second half before a fortuitous Rami Bedoui own goal levelled the game to send it to extra time and the lottery of penalty kicks.

Some Ghanaians took to Social Media to vent their fury and frustration as to how the team were beaten by Tunisia with some questioning the coaching acumen of Kwasi Appiah.

Others were attributing our performance to the excessive amounts of money been thrown at the players to try and buy the Afcon trophy.
