Comedian and actor, Lil Win, has been high on the popularity chart here for almost a decade and he says the secret behind his survival and success is humility.

According to the famous actor, he has never been rude to any of his fans or movie producers since his career took off.

“I don’t remember ever being rude to anyone because that is not my nature. If I become rude to my fans, then whom am I entertaining? I believe I am what I am today because of how nice I relate to everyone,” he told Showbiz.

He explained that though he worked for free at the start of his career, he never complained because he knew he would make it big one day.

Lil Win is known for movies such as Azonto Ghost, Asempa, Ahoufe, Doctor Lil Win, Bisa Nyame, Emerepa Beba, Okokroko and Handsome Paddies. He said apart from his humility, versatility is another contributory factor to his long-term success.

“I can sustain a live performance on stage. I recently performed at the Ghana Meets Naija concert as a musician and not a comedian. It was because of the good songs I have out there,” he said.

Lil Win, real name Kojo Nkansah, said he wants to see himself big beyond the borders of Ghana in the next five years.

Asked how he is going to do that, Lil Win said he has been learning from comedians, actors, and musicians abroad to enable him to get his act to the highest level.

“I always say language is not a deterrent to whether one makes it big internationally or not. I will go global with my local language,” he said.
