Abu Jinapor, a former Aide to the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says he has no other person in mind to vote for than his boss whom he described as incorruptible and a visionary leader.
He said although he and the President come from the same town in the Northern Region, he is very confident that Nana Akufo-Addo will be a better president than Mr. Mahama.
“I am a Northerner and I am a Gonja just like President John Dramani Mahama. In fact and indeed, I hail from the same town just like President John Mahama. I am a descendant of the great Sumaila Ndewula Jakpa. But I say to the glory of God that come December 7, I am going to cast my ballot for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,” he noted.
He added “I am going to vote for Nana Akufo-Addo because for the past eight years, President Mahama and the NDC government through their actions and inaction; through their corruption and incompetence; through their policy of create, loot, and share constitute a threat to the future of this country, particularly, the youth of this country. President Mahama constitutes a threat to the youth of this country.”
He made this observation, Sunday, when addressing over a million supporters and sympathizers of the NPP that have gathered at the Trade Fair Center for the party’s national rally.
John Jinapor commenting further said in the month of November alone, President Mahama allegedly awarded contracts worth GH?1.7billion through sole sourcing.
Ghana, he noted, could have saved a lot of money when those contracts were opened up for competitive tendering.
MASLOC, he added, is also now procuring tricycles at a much higher price than what is prevailing in the open market.
A tricycle, Jinapor noted, is being sold by MASLOC at a cost of GH?10,000.00 when the same product is sold on the open market at GH?5,000.00
“That is why the Ghanaian youth is saying that on December 7 we are going to change President John Dramani Mahama. Every day for the thief man, one day for the master,” he said.
