While some women, for various reasons prefer to stay with abusive men, actress Zynell Zuh is not here for that.
In an interview with Showbiz in which she talked about not being ready for marriage, Zynell was clear about the kind of man she wouldn’t be caught dead with and that is an abusive one.
She said she really can’t stand such men and disclosed that she even left a guy she really loved because of that.
“If you love me, why would you physically abuse me? I love my body and I wouldn’t want bruises on it. I didn’t think twice when my ex attempted it,” she stated.
According to her, a man who physically abuses a woman is not likely to change his ways and the earlier ladies get rid of such men the better.
“I won’t recommend such a man to a friend or any lady for that matter. Some ladies might date such men for money but not me. What if he hits you so hard and you don’t wake up again,” she told Showbiz.
As a producer, Zynell Zuh has three movies to her credit, When Loves Comes Around, Love Regardless and Anniversary through her production house, Box Pictures and she says her upcoming movie will be ready by December this year.
Zynnell Zuh has been nominated for Best Young Actress for her role in Deranged, a movie produced by Nadia Buari. She has starred in movies like When Loves Comes Around, Love Regardless, Single Six, Adams Apples, Seduction and Hire A Man.
Zynell is among top Ghanaian showbiz personalities who are up for nominations for the 2018 edition of the International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA) in London.
The IARA, established in 2014, recognises outstanding performances in theatre, music, film/TV and the fashion industry. This year's event will take place on September 22 at the Hilton Hotel Canary Wharf in London.
