Nigerian journalist, Dele Momodu has reacted to reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly froze Davido's account and six other bank accounts belonging to the Adeleke family, including that of Osun state PDP governorship aspirant Isiaka Adeleke, Davido's billionaire father.
According to the owner of Ovation Magazine, 'I refuse to believe that anyone, in the name of politics, would freeze the bank accounts of a hardworking family THE ADELEKEs including that of this young icon DAVIDO who has done our country very proud... God save our dear beloved nation... I pray it is fake news'.

Davido has a daughter with Dele Momodu's cousin, Sophia Momodu.The two who squashed their 2-year old beef last December when the singer came to perform at the 10th edition of 'Ovation Red Carol' organized by Mr. Momodu had a huge social media scuffle after Sophia Momodu and Davido engaged in a dramatic child custody battle.
