Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogbe says he wants to have more than 72 children and have a whole village just to himself.

The former boxing champion was full of praise for his father who he says taught him a lot of things including how to fight since he is the first son.

Speaking in an interview on Asaase Radio with Naa Ashorkor Mensah, the pugilist said he wants to have more than 72 children and have his own village.

"My father taught me how to be the first son of a first son. He taught me so much over the years. He taught me how to fight."

"I'm waiting to have 72-plus children. I want a village to myself. Until that time, I'm not going anywhere! ... I'm a strong, strong, strong soldier. It's at times of difficulty that you start to know who's really with you."

"You have to accept everything. Good, bad, evil: it comes to everybody. But you just have to prepare for every outcome in life ... You must ask yourself: once you've accomplished everything in life, in the future, what do you do?"

The Ghana boxer captured the world title in 2018 after defeating Jessie Magdaleno but subsequently lost the title to Mexican Emmanuel Navarrete in his second defense of the title in a bout staged at the Madison Square Garden Theater, New York.

Though he earned a rematch 5 months later, Isaac Dogboe lost again woefully at the Convention Center, Tucson.

Following over a year’s hiatus from boxing, the 25-year-old on July 10, 2020, announced that he will be returning to the ring on July 21 to take on American boxer Chris Avalos.

Isaac Dogbe stopped the Mexican with some heavy punches at 2:25 in the 8th round of the bout.
