After purchasing a guitar at last year’s MUSIGA ‘Grand Ball’ for Ghc 50,000, a move that has earned him an award to be presented tonight at the same event, brother of President John Dramani Mahama, Ibrahim Mahama and his friend on Thursday, bought the first copy of Atitiriw Magazine – which exclusively published wedding photos of actress, Nana Ama Mcbrown at $30,000.
Ibrahim Mahama, CEO of Engineers and Planners, announced at the launch of the magazine that he will pay half of the amount ($15,000) while his friend pay the other half – as reported by www.abrantepa.com
Nana Ama McBrown and her longtime boyfriend Maxwell Mensah tied the knot early August at a rather low-key event at an undisclosed location.
She had earlier indicated that she would prefer a private wedding. She explained that her preference for a private marriage does not suggest that she cannot afford a big wedding but just a matter of choice.
The wedding ceremony was therefore attended by a few friends and family members upon invitation. The people were however not allowed to take pictures as there were professional photographers assigned.
Four months after the wedding, Nana Ama Mcbrown decided to unveil the official photos of her wedding via the latest edition of Ghanaian magazine, ‘Atitiriw Magazine’.
Abrantepa.com is reliably informed that the decision to make the photos public was due to calls from her fans and she could not have showcased them anywhere than a magazine which she is a co-partner of.
The launch of the magazine came off at City Escape Hotel, Airport Accra. The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare, Mercy Asiedu, Stacey Amoateng, Juliet Asante and Nana Ansah Kwao IV were among the people who graced the occasion. |
