Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman has officially returned to Brighton & Hove Albion following the conclusion of his loan spell with Dutch giants Feyenoord at the end of the 2024/25 season.

The 20-year-old, who joined Feyenoord from Brighton during the second half of the campaign, is set to rejoin the Premier League club in time for pre-season preparations as he looks to stake a claim in Roberto De Zerbi’s squad.

Feyenoord confirmed Osman’s departure in a statement that also announced the exit of fellow loanees Hugo Bueno and Facundo González, whose loan deal option was not exercised.

The trio were acknowledged during the club’s end-of-season event at their 1908 training complex, where they were thanked by head coach Robin van Persie and general manager Dennis te Kloese for their contributions.

“As a memento of their season in De Kuip, they received a beautiful, personal photo plate,” the club noted in its farewell message.

Osman played a valuable role in Feyenoord’s strong season, featuring in 32 matches across all competitions and contributing four goals and three assists.

His speed, creativity, and versatility made him an asset in Feyenoord’s attack, helping the team win the Johan Cruijff Shield, reach the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, and finish third in the Eredivisie, thereby securing a place in the Champions League third qualifying round for next season.

On the international stage, Osman has earned two senior caps for Ghana, underlining his rising profile and potential for the Black Stars.

With his development continuing to attract attention, Osman’s return to Brighton adds further depth to the club’s attacking options.

He will be eager to impress during pre-season as he aims to secure a place in the first team for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
