Black Stars midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana has expressed immense satisfaction following his debut for Atalanta BC in their 2-2 draw against Dutch Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar.

The 22-year-old, who re-joined Atalanta from Cagliari Calcio during the summer transfer window, made his first appearance for the Blue-Blacks in their preseason match in Holland.

Sulemana was brought on in the 58th minute, replacing Croatian international Mario Pašalić.

His performance was notable as he effectively controlled the midfield, showcasing his abilities to manager Gian Piero Gasperini.

Sulemana shared his excitement about the debut on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, writing, "My first. A great feeling. #GoAtalantaGo."

Looking ahead, Sulemana is eager to earn more playing time in Atalanta's upcoming fixture against AS Parma.

He aims to impress the coaching staff and establish himself as a key player for the team as they prepare for the 2024/25 football season.
