Celebrated Ghanaian undercover investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has indicated that being a devout Muslim has taught him to be ready for death at any point in life.

According to the award winning journalist, threats of death from persons who have been victims of his work does not distract him adding that his fear is running out of time to make society better.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas made this revelation when he appeared on Accra based radio station, Starr FM as part of his radio tour Thursday June 28, 2018.

Asked if he does not fear death in the midst of death threats coming his way, he stated; "I was purged off death long ago. I'm a Muslim and I fear no death. Because death is inevitable. It is for all of us. What I fear is time. I'm always in a hurry to do my things and do them well. Because time won't be there forever. It is a unique opportunity we have on time".

He added; "God gave all of us special talents and everybody has a special talent in his or her field. And if God gives you what he has given you, you have no right to refuse it because that's where your calling is coming from. My call is investigative undercover journalism and that is what I'll do. No matter how many degrees, law schools I go to, I think my call is in investigative journalism".

Meanwhile Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong says the Undercover Journalist's decision to grant radio stations interviews is because he has been shaken by the release of his footage on his dubious investigative operations dubbed: Who watches the watchman, at the forecourt of Ken City Media at Madina in Accra.

Ken Agyapong insisted; “Why do you think he’s decided to grant interviews everywhere? I hear he’s billed to be interviewed on Joy FM, Starr FM and others tomorrow. It’s so clear he’s been hit by my investigations on him. Dankatoa!”

On June 6, 2018, the Tiger Eye PI ruffled furthers after they premiered the Anas’s investigative video titled Number 12 at the Accra International Conference Centre which centered on the rot in Ghana football.

In a secret recording, the video captured over a hundred football officials including referees and match commissioners receiving bribes to compromise their fairness in soccer matches.

The embattled former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi who’s currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Police Service for using President Akufo Addo’s name for influence peddling stated that the President is open to pocketing a $5 million bribe, claiming Akufo-Addo sold most of his property to finance the 2016 election and as such was broke.
